- Navigate to Settings:
- Go to Batch Tools TIME OFF and click the Time Off Adjustments button.
- View Balances:
- You’ll see the balance of unused vacation days for 2024 and the maximum allowed carryover into 2025.
- If an employee has more unused vacation than your company’s carryover limit, the excess has been automatically recorded for adjustment.
- Adjust for Payouts:
- For cases where employees are paid out instead of carrying over days, you can manually update the "Suggested Adjustment" column.
- Example scenarios:
- If your company allows a maximum of 5 carryover days and an employee has 6 unused days:
- To carry over 5 days and pay out 1, leave the suggested adjustment at 1.
- To pay out all 6 days, update the adjustment to 6 (carrying over 0 days).
- If your company allows a maximum of 5 carryover days and an employee has 6 unused days:
- Finalize Changes:
- Once you’ve reviewed and updated adjustments, click Save Employee Time Off Adjustment at the bottom of the page.
- Review Reports:
- In Reports > Time Off-Alternate, column C4 will display the adjustment amounts for your records, including any payouts for employees carrying over their maximum days.
