Learn how to use Performance Reviews
The video below explains more about why Performance Management is important and how a manager can assign and give feedback with an employee (anyone who directly reports to you as a manager/supervisor).
There are three types of Performance Reviews:
- Performance Goals are designed to help you and your manager communicate clearly about your goals and expected outcomes. In order to have meaningful conversations, it’s important to have clear, trackable goals.
- Performance Check-ins (also known as Engagement Check-ins) support both you and your supervisor with an opportunity to give and receive regular, ongoing feedback.
- Performance Reviews help you know you are developing and growing professionally by tracking performance, conversations, and the outcomes you've achieved. You can show you've worked on harder projects and grown stronger skills and improved your ability to contribute to your company!
When any type of Performance Review is assigned to you, you’ll receive a notification and find the link under Notifications on your DASHBOARD or when you click into the PERFORMANCE section.
- Click the purple BEGIN button to start filling out your side of the review.
- For each question, choose your response and/or fill in comments if you would like to elaborate.
- Scroll down to SAVE PERFORMANCE REVIEW.
- Note: You are able to edit your Performance Review / Check-in / Goal right up until your supervisor has viewed and approved it.
Your manager will be notified that you have completed your review and will then fill in their side of the form. You will then be notified when they have responded and be able to view their responses in your PERFORMANCE section.
